Sajid is now working on a Bollywood debut for Ahan alongside Milan Luthria's Tadap. Tara Sutaria plays the female lead in the film, which will be released in September. Surprisingly, Akshay was the one who unveiled the first look poster for Ahan's debut film. And now, even before it can be released, reports that the two are planning to collaborate have reached the news.
According to a source connected to Sajid Nadiadwala's production company, Nadiadwala Grandson Entertainment, “The entire team is rooting for this first-time combo of Akshay Kumar and Ahan Shetty. The project is in the planning stage and Sajid has come up with a story that demands for this unique star-cast. More details will be revealed in the time to come.”
The insider explained that this collaboration is extremely special because of Akshay Kumar's wonderful bond with Ahan Shetty's father, Suniel Shetty. Sunil and Akshay have appeared in various films together, including Waqt Hamara Hai, Mohra, Hera Pheri, Phir Hera Pheri Dhadkan, Awara Pagaal Deewana, and others. Keeping this relationship in mind, the source added, “Sajid Nadiadwala is well aware of this and one expects the same sort of magic from Akshay and Ahan too.”
The director's identity, title, genre, and shooting details for this Akshay-Ahan picture are presently being kept under wraps. While signing off, the source stated that the producer would make an official announcement regarding the project soon.
On the employment front, Akshay Kumar recently finished filming in Jaisalmer for a big portion of the action comedy Bachchan Pandey. This is expected to be followed by a brief stay in Mumbai in the near future.
