According to recent reports, the 46 year-old actress wants Brad and her French château andwinery Chateau Miraval. She claims Pitt is trying to stop her.
According to US Weekly court documents, Angelina Jolie'slawyer claimed that Angelina Jolie cannot sell the winery despite finding abuyer. This is because Brad Pitt has not consented to lifting the ATRO. ATRO (Automatic TemporaryRestraining Order) prohibits one party from making financial decisions that could harm the other during the divorce proceedings.
According to the above-mentioned website, AngelinaJolie's attorney filed a written declaration that read, "After all thoseyears of trying to get out of being business partners with my ex-husband on acceptable terms, Ms. Jolie is very desirous to close the pending agreement for sale of Nouvel, LLC and requests that the Court lift the ATROs and specifically state that they will not apply to Ms. Jolie sale of Nouvel, LLC."
According to reports, Angelina Jolie had filed anemergency application on June 30 to remove the ATRO. The judge found thatAngelina Jolie's legal team couldn't prove there was an "immediatethreat/irreparable injury or immediate loss/damage of property."
Angelina's legal team claims Chateau Miraval is herproperty since it was bought before she married Brad Pitt in 2014. Ironically, this is alsothe exact spot Brad and Angie exchanged vows to be husband and wife.
