Gigi Hadid wrote "To paparazzi press and loved fanaccounts. As our babygrows up, we must realize that we cannot protect her from all the things weused to be able to when she was younger. Sheloves to travel! She is able to see theworld from our farm, but she also has the opportunity to visit other countries. This is a real blessing.
Gigi Hadid said, "On our recent visits to New Yorkhas started to want (stroller) her sun shade lifted up (something that she isused to at-home) and then helps herself to it!" She doesn't get why she iscovered in NYC, nor what I want to protect her from. She should also see NYC, the most beautiful city in theglobe, and the diverse people who walk its streets. This is without having to deal with the media circus of parents who are public figures.
"I know that laws change from State to State andI've seen photos by paparazzi of children in NYC with their faces blurred. But,I have asked around and believe that it comes down to integrity of the photographer, publications or fans sharing these images.
"I am writing this to inform the Paparazzi, mediaand our beloved fans that we have never shared our daughter's image on socialmedia. We want herto be able to choose how she wants to present herself to the world as an adult. She can have a normal childhood without worrying about being judged. We would be so grateful if you could please blur her facefrom any images taken of our daughter exploring NYC and around the globe.

"I want to say a big thank you to the paparazzi forbeing so kind and respectful since I asked them not to walk with me with thestroller since my first trip to NYC. It's a pleasure to see you, and it is greatly appreciated.
"I can see that for a child, the paparazzi dramasmust be disorienting and overwhelming... but it is still there as an adult whounderstands it and has to deal with it frequently.
